Archery
is one of the more exciting experiences, in all its varieties: Bare bow,
recurved bow or compound bow. Archery is at the reach of everybody, but
for being a champion, you need to develop the neccesary technic for the
shooting, so it becomes spontaneous, natural, and the arrow release almost
should "surprise" you while you are focussed on the target. |

The
different competitions can be mixed or only feminines. Different categories
are taking in account depending upon the bow types: Bare bows, recurved
bows, or compound bows. |

Strenght,
physical and emotional stability, decision, concentration capability and
a lot of training hours are essentials to arrive at the highest scores. |

| Federations |
|
The
archers in the different competitions are classified (in Catalunya) according
to their age: "ardillas"," benjamines", "alevines",
"infantiles", "cadetes", "juniors", "seniors",
and "veteranos". Distances, number of arrows to shoot and target
size are selected for each group, according to the Archery Spanish Federation
rules. |
